Materials : Deep blue lapis lazuli, black textile cord, optionally stainless steel

Closure : sliding knot

There are two beautifully faceted lapis lazuli beads on the delicate black nylon cord . Choose a variant: with silver stainless steel stoppers or without them, but with the knotted cord to the left and right of the gemstone. The bracelet is adjustable using two sliding knots.

Each stone is different in its color and has more or less lighter inclusions.

Meaning of Lapis Lazuli

Lapis lazuli got its name from the Arabic word azul (sky) and the Latin word lapis (stone). Excavations in what is probably the oldest city in human history, Ur, show that lapis lazuli was already being used to make necklaces and jewelry around 5000 years before Christ. Due to inclusions of pyrite grains, lapis lazuli resembles the sparkling starry sky at night. People believed that all divine power, security and infinite life were concentrated in lapis lazuli.
